Step 1: Admissions application

Step 2: Pay the admissions application fee
The application fee is payable online ($15 U. S. applicants/ $25 International applicants) using Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Step 3: Schedule and Take ATB Test
The Ability to Benefit Test is a test given to non high school graduates to assess their potential to benefit from an education at Delgado Community College. To schedule the ATB test, contact the prospective campus location. Once the ATB test is passed, a student can proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Submit proof of immunization
Submit proof of immunization compliance if born after 1956. Click here for more information or to download the compliance form.
Step 5: Submit proof of registration with selective service (males only)
Proof of registration with the military selective service is required for male applicants between the ages of 18 and 26 (in compliance with State Law R.S. 17:3151). Register now with selective service at www.sss.gov.
Step 6: Submit ACT scores
ACT scores are required for applicants 24 years of age or younger. Vist ACT.ORG for more information.

If you are not interested in taking the ATB test, you can enroll into our Adult Basic Education Program. This is a free program that assist non high school graduates in attaining their GED.
