 Admission Steps:

Step 1:  Admissions application
You can submit your admissions application online. You will be required to supply a four digit PIN that is unique to you.

Step 2:  Pay the admissions application fee
The application fee is payable online ($15 U. S. applicants/ $25 International applicants) using Visa, MasterCard or Discover. The non-refundable fee is valid for  one fiscal year (Fall through Summer).

Step 3:  Submit transcripts
Submit an official copy of transcripts from every college or university attended (an official transcript is one that is mailed directly from the registrar to the Office of Admissions.) Non-degree seeking students are only required to provide an official transcript from the last college attended. Click here for the acceptance of transfer credits policy. Summer visitors are required to provide a letter of academic standing only.

Step 4:  Submit proof of immunization
Submit proof of immunization compliance if born after 1956. Click here for more information or to download the compliance form.

Step 5:  Submit proof of registration with selective service
Submit proof of registration with military selective service for male applicants between the ages of 18 and 26 (in compliance with State Law R.S. 17:3151). Register now with selective services at www.sss.gov.

Step 6:  Placement Assessment
Delgado Placement Assessment is required in English and math if the applicant has not completed college-level English and math courses within the last three years. Click here for more information.

Step 7:  Advisement & Scheduling Classes

Step 8:  Apply for Federal Financial Assistance
